Is there a convention to distinguish Python integration tests from unit tests?

Hope that helps In our project we have unit tests inside each package, same as your case, and integration tests ,system tests, as a separate package on top level, i.e:

What is the canonical way to isolate unit tests in Python with assertion-style tests?

With these it helps I recently asked this question and realized that I'd also like to know if there's a way to achieve 'expectation' isolation with assertion-style tests. I've copy and pasted a simple example of what I mean by 'expectation' isolation. , The unittest module is part of the standard library.
code :
class TestFoo(unittest.TestCase):
    def setUp(self):
        self.f = Foo()

    def test_bar(self):
        self.assertEqual(self.f.bar(3), 4)

    def test_missing_argument(self):
        self.assertRaises(TypeError, self.f.bar())

When multiple unit tests copy the same file, running all unit tests fail

To fix this issue What happened was, since I was using relative path to the testing files, for some reason when running the unit tests in batch, test runner working directory is different than when running individual tests, hence it couldn't find the directory.
So I used this function to build the absolute path to the testing files:
code :
    private string GetFilePath([CallerFilePath] string path = "")
        return path;
    string projectDir = Path.GetDirectoryName(GetFilePath());
    string testFile = Path.Combine(projectDir, @"Resources\test.png";

Can pom.xml be set up to run testNG(UI perf. tests) tests and jUnit(unit tests) tests separately, from command line?

Hope that helps Yes you can do that. You need to make two separate testng files with different names and add unit tests in one testng and performance tests in other and you can parameterised it from the pom.xml like:

Python: Unit Tests/ Integration Tests: Workaround for file paths?

Hope this helps There are several options to solve the problem you describe:
Write a wrapper script that first sets the working directory to a fixed path before running the tests. You could pass the absolute path in an environment variable to your test executable. Rather than reading test data from a file, incorporate the test data into your test code.
