hope this fix your issue You can use event handlers for this.
Under properties for the item you want, you'll find event handlers here:
code :
private void radioButton1_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
    if (radioButton1.Checked)
        textBox1.Text = "Radio button 1 checked";
}

</LinearLayout>
package com.mkyong.android;

import android.app.Activity;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.View;
import android.view.View.OnClickListener;
import android.widget.Button;
import android.widget.RadioButton;
import android.widget.RadioGroup;
import android.widget.Toast;

public class MyAndroidAppActivity extends Activity {
    private RadioGroup radioSexGroup;
    private RadioButton radioSexButton;
    private Button btnDisplay;

    @Override
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.main);

    addListenerOnButton();

    }

    public void addListenerOnButton() {

        radioSexGroup = (RadioGroup) findViewById(R.id.radioSex);
        btnDisplay = (Button) findViewById(R.id.btnDisplay);

        btnDisplay.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener() {

            @Override
            public void onClick(View v) {

                    // get selected radio button from radioGroup
                int selectedId = radioSexGroup.getCheckedRadioButtonId();

                // find the radiobutton by returned id
                    radioSexButton = (RadioButton) findViewById(selectedId);

                Toast.makeText(MyAndroidAppActivity.this,
                    radioSexButton.getText(), Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();

How do I disable text areas based on what radio button is checked when the page loads?

will help you I want to improve upon this script for disabling text areas by radio button selection. Currently when "yes" is selected the text areas should be disabled and enabled when "no" is selected. , try
code :
$(".group").find(":radio[value=yes]:checked").each(function () {
    $('[data-trigger="' + $(this).attr("name") + '"]').prop('readonly', true).css('background-color', '#EBEBE4');
});

Select text based on which radio button is checked

I hope this helps . Radio buttons that represent a "group" of items should be grouped together in a container. The GroupBox control is expressly designed for this purpose. If all of your currency radio buttons are not already in a GroupBox, put them there.
Then, you can just iterate through the radio buttons in the GroupBox and see which one is checked. This can even be simplified with LINQ:
code :
Dim rb As RadioButton = myGroupBox.Controls.OfType(Of RadioButton)
                           .FirstOrDefault(Function(r) r.Checked = True)
Dim rb As RadioButton = myGroupBox.Controls.OfType(Of RadioButton)
                           .FirstOrDefault(Function(r) r.Checked = True)

Resultbox.AppendText(CurrencyHolder.Text & rb.Tag.ToString())

Autocheck Radio Button in JQuery (Mark a radio button as checked / unchecked based on another value)

Any of those help This is definitely one of those weird little problems that can work with slightly different versions of Jquery and slightly different syntax.
The following code shows you what now works for me and the corresponding none-working version (that works in Jquery 1.3.1):
code :
function autoCheck() {
  if (HasDescription) {
    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=True]').prop('checked', true);

    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=True]').attr('disabled', true);
    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=False]').attr('disabled', true);

  } else {
    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription]').prop('checked', false);

    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=True]').attr('disabled', null);
    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=False]').attr('disabled', null);

  }
  HasDescription = !HasDescription;

}

function brokenAutoCheck() {
  if (HasDescription) {

    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=True]').attr('checked', true);
    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=False]').attr('checked', null);

    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=True]').attr('disabled', true);
    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=False]').attr('disabled', true);

  } else {

    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=True]').attr('checked', null);
    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=False]').attr('checked', null);

    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=True]').attr('disabled', null);
    $('input[name=AttachedJobDescription][value=False]').attr('disabled', null);

  }
  HasDescription = !HasDescription;

}
var HasDescription = true;
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
Yes
<input data-val="true" data-val-required="The Attached Job Description field is required." id="AttachedJobDescription" name="AttachedJobDescription" onchange="showJobDescriptionDocument();" type="radio" value="True">No
<input id="AttachedJobDescription" name="AttachedJobDescription" onchange="showJobDescriptionDocument();" type="radio" value="False">

<br>
<button type="button" onclick="autoCheck()">AutoCheck (Works)</button>
<br>
<br>
<button type="button" onclick="brokenAutoCheck()">AutoCheck (Work Once )</button>
<br>

jQuery Validation Plugin - Minimum amount for text input based on radio button checked

I wish did fix the issue. You do not need to write a custom method to simply implement a conditional rule. It can be done with a function within the rules object.
Something like this...
code :
rules: {
    basicDonationFormPayMethod: {
        required: true
    },
    basicDonationFormAmount: {
        number: true,
        required: true,
        min: function() {
            return ($('input:radio[name=basicDonationFormPayMethod]:checked').val() == "Credit Card") ? 18 : 10;
        }
    }
},
messages: {
    basicDonationFormAmount: {
        min: "Choose payment method and enter $18 or more for credit, $10 or more for other"
    }
}
