the help page "Using the SSH protocol with bitbucket" and "troubleshooting SSH Issues for bitbucket" the case used in your address (case-sensitive) the nature of your ssh key (is it password protected? Did you then nadd it to the ssh-agent?) the number of your ssh keys (if you have several keys, you need to declare them in a ~/.ssh/config file, or you can follow this answer)

will help you I know similar questions have already been asked. , First, check that your origin is set by running
code :
git remote -v
$git remote -v
myOrigin ssh://git@example.com:1234/myRepo.git (fetch)
myOrigin ssh://git@example.com:1234/myRepo.git (push)

# this will fail because `origin` is not set
$git push origin master

# you need to use
$git push myOrigin master
$git remote remove myOrigin
$git remote add origin ssh://git@example.com:1234/myRepo.git

# this will now work as expected
$git push origin master

To use <git push> on Visual Studio Code, but show "Could not read from remote repository."

I wish did fix the issue. I thought the answer by @codewizard was the correct one. Seems VS Code uses 'id_rsa.pub' key only, it was not using my other ssh key pair that git.exe was configured to use.(This key wasn't name id_rsa.) However after generating a new id_rsa key pair, I still got permission denied (publickey).
I Found my answer on this blog entry, seems vs code doesn't have a ssh-agent to interact with?
