SnowSQL Bad Handshake when running PUT

To fix the issue you can do My initial thoughts are that the error indicates a firewall or proxy issue. In particular, a proxy might intercept Snowflake's SSL certificate and replace it with their own. The best way to resolve this is to ensure the certificate is trusted in the proxy and the proxy is configured as per Snowflake's documentation so that the Snowflake certificate can pass through.
The documentation below has more information on using a proxy with SnowSQL. You can pass along the error with issuer details to your network engineer and can request to whitelist the required URLs (documentation also below outlining the whitelisting requirements). You can use the SYSTEM$WHITELIST function to get all the URLs to whitelist in a proxy or firewall for your account.

may help you . If you are using IBM JDK 7, then it is a known bug which is fixed in IBM JDK 7.0.0 SR6. Either you can try with IBM JDK 7 SR6 onwards OR try replacing jre\lib\security\cacerts file in JDK 7 with jre\lib\security\cacerts file in JDK 6

should help you out According to the SSLLabs report the site requires ECDHE ciphers. Your linux client does not support these ciphers while your windows client does.
ECDHE cipher suites not supported on OpenJDK 8 installed on EC2 Linux machine indicates that this might be a problem of OpenJDK vs. Oracle JDK.

To fix this issue Python or Ansible communicates using SSL so openssl is a binary through which SSL is validated in python.
Apart from ansible execution if you try to install any packages using python it will throw an error if openssl is not installed and also it depends on the pip and python version as well

I wish did fix the issue. I would do something like the following, where I add the log file location to the snowsql command and my config file has a config called configName.
code :
snowsql -c configName -o log_file=~/.snowsql/"$(date +'%Y%m%d_%H%M%S')"log
