How do you translate mouse coordinates into "mm"

This might help you I am trying to convert the distance from a mouse press to mouse release into mm. I already calculated the distance but am not sure how to convert to the correct units. , In short:

around this issue You didn't do the translation in a proper way. What you did is called string replacement, not the translation. The proper way of translation is to make a language_code.po and language_code.mo file using software like PoEdit :)

To fix the issue you can do If you're only rotating in 90 degree increments then the math is fairly straight forward. This example rotates coordinates 90° to the left.

wish helps you I am trying convert few points in my image to polar coordinates in OpenCV. I came across function called cartToPolar which will give me polar coordinates for my points with respect to 0,0 being my origin. However I want to do this conversion by considering another point in my image as origin. Can anyone help me doing so? I came across posts which say that remap helps to shift the origin but I am not clear how it works. , Then you have to move the ref point to origin:
