Django forms checkbox selection does not work

may help you . The "name" attribute of your element does not match the POST attribute expected by your form: cc != u_terms.
You can solve this in two ways:
code :
{{ form.u_terms }}
{{ form.u_terms.label_tag }}
<input type="checkbox" name="{{ form.u_terms.html_name }}" id="{{ form.u_terms.id_for_label }}" class="some-custom-class">
<label for="{{ form.u_terms.id_for_label }}"><span></span></label>

In CQ5, why does the 'checkbox' xtype not work? But a 'selection' xtype and a 'checkbox' type is needed to create a work

seems to work fine Ultimately the 'checkbox' xtype doesn't work because it is designed in a way that doesn't preserve the state on its own, as @Emin commented.
When a user loads a component that uses a 'checkbox' xtype in the dialog, the first load of that page the underlying JCR node does not have any dialog properties stored for that checkbox because it hasn't been author-configured yet. Then, if the author checks the box to configure it and saves the dialog, the form submission in the dialog will include the selection and the property will be saved the the repository as having been checked.

Django Beginner Forms, not able to make two forms work on one template page

hope this fix your issue You have two separate views, and they only return a specific form. In your template you repeat the code, therefore you get it twice. A return supports any number of forms. In your view you could do like:
code :
form1 = AmatForm()
form2 = AmatForm2()

args = {
'form2' = form1
'form2' = form2
return render(request, self.template_name, args)
{{ form1.as_p }}
{{ form2.as_p }}

wish helps you You need to move your ajax call into the click handler.
Additionally, because you are listening for the click rather than submit event, there's no way for you to prevent the browser from also submitting that form. See below for an updated implementation that listens to submit, cancels the browser's default behavior, and makes the AJAX call on submit.
code :
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.3.1.min.js"></script>
$(document).on('submit', '.send-mail-to-selected-btn', function(ev){
  var messages = new Array();
$("input:checked").each(function() {

console.log(messages); #here i can see the id of checked email
        name: name,
        messages: messages,
