Hope that helps I finally had to add some functionalities to react-native-svg so I could get the size of the different elements.
It's not very well done, but I may come back to it for a cleaner solution and submit a PR then.

To fix this issue Theres a few things you can try.
Try telling the image to cover the screen
code :
resizeMode: 'cover'
alignSelf: 'stretch'
width: null,
height: null

To fix this issue In, React-Native, is it possible to display an image without declaring width and height inside style prop ? , You could try
code :
<View style={{ flex: 1 }}>
            <Image source={{ uri:'http://...'}}
                style={{
                    alignSelf: 'stretch',
                    flex: 1,
                }}
            />
        </View>

How to specify the dimensions of a container as the total dimensions of its children in React Native?

it fixes the issue The dimensions of the View are auto taken, But for spacing you have to use the concept of flex.
Example:
code :
<View style={{flex:1,justifyContent:"space-evenly",alignItems:"center"}}>
  <Text style={[styles.title]}>{title}</Text>
  <Text style={[styles.title]}>{title}</Text>
  <Text style={[styles.title]}>{title}</Text>
  <Text style={[styles.title]}>{title}</Text>
</View>

React Native - Dimensions.set() is not working?

will be helpful for those in need if you will refer the facebooks's doc for dimensions here set() method can only be called from native code and needs to be exposed with didUpdateDimensions event.
