Any of those help The feature is called cross-selling in Magento. In the Backend you find it while editing a product (Catalog => Manage Products) in the left menu, called "Cross-Selling".
Magento has 2 other types of such relations called "related-products" and "Up-Selling". Maybe you have to transfer that data too.
code :
Link_type_id = 1 => relation
Link_type_id = 4 => up-selling
Link_type_id = 5 => cross-selling

Multiple Mysql Cross Reference Tables, or One (by adding an extra field storing reference type)

wish help you to fix your issue I think that the cross-reference table may be a matter of preference in this situation, but as your data sets grow it may become cumbersome for both yourself and for your growing needs of the application to continue to keep that up.
Rather, I would rewrite the queries above to eliminate subqueries and implied joins. I would also add an index on anything that gets evaluated.
code :
select * from prx_sportsitems psi
left join prx_tags_items pti on (pti.ownerid=psi.id)
left join prx_tags pt on (pti.tagid=pt.id)
where pt.tagname = 'aerobic'
and pti.ownertype='sportsitems'
order by psi.dateadded desc
limit 0,30

Hope that helps It's the data that is encoded, it's just the literal "state". The values are properly encoded and decoded if you use QByteArray or QString . The QString::fromLocal8Bit() part is for converting the string literal in the source file to a unicode string. It's good practice to stick to ASCII in source files, as other encodings such as UTF-8 usually don't work with all compilers, especially MSVC.
To convert literals to QString I would suggest using QLatin1String:

fixed the issue. Will look into that further I've used something similar and use the session and application spaces for the objects.
So, when the application fires up load all the franchise objects into application:
code :
Application["Franchise"] = MethodToLoadFranchiseInfo();
