I wish did fix the issue. I use python 3.7 in Spyder , anaconda 5. , This is because
code :
f.readlines()
np.savetxt(filename+'.txt', lines, delimiter="", newline='', fmt="%s")

How do I write a regular expression for all lines followed by an empty line?

Does that help Now, in the snippet below, you will notice that there is a list of file paths. Each section (preceded and followed by empty lines) represents a set of files that are duplicated. I would like to select all but one of these so that I can then inverse the selection and use the list for a batch delete operation. I have no idea on how to construct a regular expression for selecting the same though. , You can use this regex:
code :
(?<!\n\n)(?<!\A)^ *\S+

I think the issue was by ths following , Quite elegant solution, which avoids chaining filter and map, is to use flatMap:
code :
def filter(tweet):
    return [json.dumps(tweet)] if criteria(tweet) is True else []

some_rdd.flatMap(filter)

    for line in f:

            _text += '*ELEMENT MATRIX OUTPUT,ELSET=m,STIFFNESS=YES,MASS=NO,OUTPUTFILE=USER\n'

        _text += line

    f.seek(0)
    f.write(_text)

I wish did fix the issue. The setting you're looking for can be located by the following navigation: File -> Settings -> Editor -> Code Style -> C# -> Blank Lines
Under the subsection Blank Lines in Code, you're looking for After statements with child blocks. The reason this particular setting is adding lines in your case is the inclusion of braces.
code :
if (i % 3 == 0) { output += "Fizz"; }
if (i % 5 == 0) { output += "Buzz"; }
if (i % 3 == 0) output += "Fizz";
if (i % 5 == 0) output += "Buzz";

may help you . Maybe try putting all of the code that code into a while loop and at the end of your if statement if the if condition is met add break so:
code :
import turtle

while True:
    if password not in ("password"):
        print("access denied.")
        turtle.bgcolor("red")
        turtle.write("access denied.", font=style)
        turtle.done()
        break
    else:
        'whatever next condition is'
