Python scope of int vs scope of list

hop of those help? Only names have scopes. The x you assign before printer is a global name. The parameter x in printer is local to printer.
board is a global name. Since you never assign to board inside printer (board[0] = 'X' is not an assignment to board; it's a method call board.__setattr__(0, 'X')), it is a free variable whose value is taken from a name in an enclosing scope. The assignment mutates an existing value referenced by the global name board.

Angular $scope not working as expected. Trying to assign object values in a controller $scope and a $scope.function scop

it should still fix some issue For context I'm trying to write some custom form validation in angularjs. I start with some default messages that accompany the fields. If error is false the message appears grey (normal informative), if error is true (the message appears red (warning). The validation checks that I've omitted will change the message strings and set error to true (if the checks fail). So every time a user runs the validate function I need it to first reset $scope.registerMessage to the default form messages and then run the checks again so any fixed errors don't persist error messages. The code currently works but I've been forced to define the default message object twice and I'm sure this is unnecessary but try as I might, I can't get it to work any other way. , Try this
code :
 app.controller('loginCtrl', function ($scope) {

    function defaultMessage() {
        // default form messages
         $scope.registerMessage = {
             username : {
                message : '',
                error   : false
              },
              firstName : {
                 message : '',
                 error   : false
              },
              lastName : {
                  message : '',
                  error   : false
               },
               email : {
                   message : 'You must use a valid email to register.',
                   error   : false
               },
               password : {
                    message : 'Your password must be atleast six characters long and contain a number or special character.',
                     error   : false
                },
                reEnterPassword : {
                      message : '',
                      error   : false
                 }
           };

      }

    $scope.validate = function (callback) {
       defaultMessage();
    };

   //Init
   defaultMessage();
});

ngDialog $scope variables not being updated by ngModel fields in $dialog when using scope: $scope

around this issue I have edited the original post and added it below. The FIXED link shows it working and the second shows it broken. Adding a dot (using a javascript object) fixes the problem.
ngDialog.open() - http://jsfiddle.net/s1ca0h9x/ (FIXED!! works like expected)
code :
var myApplication = angular.module('myApplication', ['ngDialog']);

myApplication.controller('MainController', function ($scope, ngDialog) {
    $scope.FormData={newAccountNum:''};
    $scope.ShowNgDialog = function () {
        ngDialog.open({
            template: '<div><input type="text" ng-model="FormData.newAccountNum"/></div>',
            plain: true,
            scope:$scope

        });
    }
});

i want to assign a snapshot.val() to to $scope variable $scope.pending and bind it to a ng-repeat list

With these it helps Let's say I have some model , More as result of scope, you can add like,
code :
scope :send_list, -> (*scopes) { scopes.inject(self) { |out, scope| out.send(scope) } }
