Query for a list of multiple-day events occurring between today and one week from today based on start date and end date

I hope this helps . I like to visualize problems like this. As far as I understand your question, there are four types of events that should be returned:
code :
          |-------------------- WEEK ---------------------|
          |                                               |
          |         |========== EVENT ==========|         |
     |========== EVENT ==========|                        |
          |                        |========== EVENT ==========|
     |========================= EVENT =========================|
          |                                               |
          |-----------------------------------------------|
SELECT *
FROM events
WHERE (start_date >= CURDATE() AND end_date <= CURDATE() + INTERVAL 1 WEEK)
   OR (start_date < CURDATE() AND end_date >= CURDATE() )
   OR (start_date <= CURDATE() + INTERVAL 1 WEEK
      AND end_date > CURDATE() + INTERVAL 1 WEEK)
   OR (start_date < CURDATE() AND end_date > CURDATE() + INTERVAL 1 WEEK);
SELECT *
FROM events
WHERE start_date <= CURDATE() + INTERVAL 1 WEEK
  AND CURDATE() <= end_date

Need to create a flag based off of a date column and today's date

Hope that helps I have a spreadsheet with random dates in column A. I want to create a flag (Y) for anything that is >= 3 days from today's date. To get a little more complicated, I would like to add another level to this formula. I was thinking an IF(AND statement but can't figure out how to structure it, that says: if the date in A2 is >= 3 days from today's date and B2 = "Y" then Y. , Please try:
code :
=IF(AND(ABS(TODAY()-A2)>=3,B2="Y"),"Y","")

I wish this helpful for you You have a misspelling in your code and you should be using dateadd(). Try:
code :
SELECT [OPCODE],
       [dtbuilt],
       [AGE_NO_DAYS] = DATEDIFF(day, dtbuilt, CAST(GETDATE() As DATE))
INTO #df_EVENT5_6
FROM #df_EVENT5_5
alter table #df_EVENTS_5 add age_num_days as (DATEDIFF(day, dtbuilt, CAST(GETDATE() as DATE));

may help you . Using pd.to_timedelta, you can convert df['Days till Service'] to timedeltas, then add them to today's date:
code :
df['Predicted Service Date'] = \
    pd.to_datetime('today') + pd.to_timedelta(df['Days till Service'], unit='D')
