Any of those help with tqdm, You can't. It only works with iterables with len() property. It's hard/impossible to know how far you are through pickling/unpickling an object.

Loading all objects of a dictionary from a pickle file

I think the issue was by ths following , You opened your pickle file in append mode; this writes a new pickle record at the end of the file, leaving your first version at the start.
Then, when you read the pickle from the file when you re-open the program, you only read that very first version.
code :
def save_object(obj, filename):
    with open(filename, 'wb') as output:
        pickle.dump(obj, output, -1)

this will help Use a database because it allows you to query faster. I've done this before. I would suggest against using cPickle. What specific implementation are you using?

should help you out The process of loading a 350 MB pickle data file is taking too long and App Engine thinks your instance has failed. Your container startup time is over three minutes.
You have a problem that cannot be easily solved. The maximum file size is 32 MB (64 MB for Go applications). You are downloading the file to memory, but your instance is taking too long to download it.
