I wish this help you Call with a(0,1), not a([0,1]). If you want to use a list as the argument, you can use a nested variable list like this: a=lambdify([(x,k)], f, "scipy").

will help you I am new to python and have hit a wall. I followed several tutorials but cant get past the error: , You need to instantiate a class instance here.
code :
p = Pump()
>>> class TestClass:
        def __init__(self):
            print("in init")
        def testFunc(self):
            print("in Test Func")

>>> testInstance = TestClass()
in init
>>> testInstance.testFunc()
in Test Func

TypeError: str() missing 1 required positional argument: 'self'

To fix the issue you can do First of all you should not name your methods or variables after the in-built reserved types like str list and int
you're probably trying to call the method like a static method, create an instance of your class and call it
code :
Case.str() # Wrong because you're not passing an instance to it

mycase = Case()
mycase.str() # my case automatically gets passed here implicity i.e mycase.str(mycase)

it fixes the issue You are not supposed to call a class method directly, instead create an instance of that class:
code :
p1 = players(your, values, here)
skierDirection, playerImage = p1.turn(skierDirection, playerImages)

may help you . The imputer = Imputer(...) creates new instance of Imputer. When you want use this instance you just call it like imputer.method(args). So the correct usage should be something like this:
code :
X = dataset.iloc[:,:].values
from sklearn.preprocessing import Imputer
imputer = Imputer(missing_values = 'Nan', strategy = 'mean', axis = 0)
X[:,2:52] = imputer.transform(X[:,2:52])

like below fixes the issue I'm trying to use Simple Linear regression lm.fit() but getting this error: , What you did is
lm = LinearRegression
code :
lm = LinearRegression()

x = df[['battery_power']]

y = df['price']

lm.fit(X=x, y=y)
