wish helps you Store them as strings without the slashes, and convert them back to RegExp objects after parsing the JSON string:
code :
const json = `{
    "wlp": [
        "^carousel-item.*",
        "collapsing",
        "show"
    ]
}`

const wlp = JSON.parse(json).wlp // or const wlp = require('./project.json').wlp on nodejs
  .map(str => new RegExp(str))

console.log(wlp)
var purgeWLP = [
    /^carousel-item.*/,
    /collapsing/,
    /show/,
];

var result = JSON.stringify(purgeWLP.map(re => re.source));

console.log(result);

Get an array of objects from an external json file and store as an array in javascript

Hope that helps AJAX functions do not have data return values, they just return an AJAX object.
You need to use callbacks.
code :
$.getJSON('/TestJSON', function(jsonObj){
    $("#testJSONBtn").click(function () {
        for(var i = 0; i < jsonObj.events.length; ++i) {
            $("#JSONOutput").append(jsonObj.events[i].title + ", " + jsonObj.events[i].date + ", " + jsonObj.events[i].explanation + "<br/>")
        }
    });
});
var btn = $("#testJSONBtn"); //cache the element
var output = $("#JSONOutput"); // ^^^
$.getJSON('/TestJSON', function(jsonObj){
    btn.click(function () {
        var val = "";
        for(var i = 0; i < jsonObj.events.length; ++i) {
            val += jsonObj.events[i].title + ", " + jsonObj.events[i].date + ", " + jsonObj.events[i].explanation + "<br/>";
        }
        output.append(val);
    });
});

Retrive objects with the same id in json array (javascript)

wish helps you Do not use Array as a variable name. Object keys cannot be duplicate. If you do, only the latest entry is fed to that key. The others are discarded. In your case, only the third "1" is accessible via the "1" key. What you need is an array, not an object
You need this:
code :
var myArray = [
    {"id" : 1, "text": "Number one", "time": "16 03 13"},    //index 0
    {"id" : 1, "text": "Number two", "time": "14 03 13"},    //index 1
    {"id" : 1, "text": "Number three", "time": "13 03 13"},  //index 2
    {"id" : 2, "text": "Number one", "time": "13 03 13"}     //index 3
];

var i;

for(i=0;i<myArray.length;i++){
  if(myArray[i].id === 1){
    console.log(myArray[i].text);
  }
}
var myArray = {
  "1" : [
    {"text": "Number one", "time": "16 03 13"},  //index 0
    {"text": "Number two", "time": "14 03 13"},  //index 1
    {"text": "Number three", "time": "13 03 13"} //index 2
  ],
  "2" : [
    {"text": "Number one", "time": "13 03 13"}   //index 0
  ]
};

var ones = myArray['1'];

for(i=0;i<ones.length;i++){
  console.log(ones[i].text);
}
var myArray = [
];

//create an array containing only those with id of 1
var filtered = myArray.filter(function(val,i,arr){
  return val.id === 1;
});

for(i=0;i<filtered.length;i++){
  console.log(filtered[i].text);
}

With these it helps , You can get latlong data:
code :
for (var a = 0; a < obj.length; a++) {
    var key = Object.keys(obj[a])[0];
    var latlong = obj[a][key][1];
    console.log(latlong));
}
var markers = [{
    "name": "circlemarker",
    "type": "circle_marker"
    "latlong": "abc"
}, {
    "name": "connector_marker",
    "type": "icon_marker",
    "latlong": "pqr"
}, {
    "name": "icon_marker",
    "type": "connector_marker",

How To Store/Retrive from S3 As JSON

By : Roman Truschev

this will help Found the answer is to getObject and then get the content as a stream. One can then use Jackson's JsonParser to parse the stream
code :
S3Object s3Object = s3Client.getObject(bucket, key);
S3ObjectInputStream s3Stream = s3Object.getObjectContent();

ObjectMapper objectMapper = new ObjectMapper();
JsonFactory jsonFactory = objectMapper.getFactory();
JsonParser jsonParser = jsonFactory.createParser(s3Stream);

JsonParser.nextToken()...etc
