hop of those help? You can't.
That's the whole point of storing it that way. You're not supposed to be able to see other people's passwords. Ever. If you can't, then hackers can't either.

this will help As @Carlos said phpmyadmin is probably html-encoding the html entities before showing is true. This is true. There is no problem with the function. When i decrypt from outside phpmyadmin the password is decrypted properly. I made the mistake earlier i tried to directly do it from the admin panel and now i am running it from the script outside the admin panel.

Hope this helps You don't encrypt passwords, you hash them.
The point is, that you don't actually need the users password, you just need to know that they know it.
code :
$pass = md5('somerandomtextthatyouknow'.$_POST['password']);

Does that help MD5 is a hashing function, not encryption, this means is irreversible. Thus can't be decrypted. What you can do is compare the resulting hash of a known input against another hash.
Depending on what you are trying to do, you should consider using another hashing function, since:

wish of those help ENCRYPT is using a one way hash algorithm there is no DECRYPT.. That's the sense of enrypting passwords: a hacker should have no option to see the clear text passwords.
When you need to compare a password in db with one a user has entered, use a query like this (using prepared queries)

like below fixes the issue Passwords are hashed, not encrypted. Hashed is one way, That means they can’t be reversed into their plain text form. This is for security reasons.
If someone downloads your database, they shouldn’t be able to reverse each of your users’ passwords. It’s also a security issue to simply display a password back to the user in case they’re on an insecure network and someone is eavesdropping on the connection.
