should help you out The parameter S of func() is passed by value, it's copied from the argument, any modification on it inside func() has nothing to do with the argument (i.e. S in test()).
You should make it pass-by-reference. Then given func(n, S); the parameter S of func() and S in test() would refer to the same object.
code :
void func(int n, set<int>& S)
//                       ^
{
    int i = rand() % n;
    S.insert(i);
    printf("#S = %d\n", S.size());
}

this will help Debug the try block and see which line throws the IndexOutOfRange exception, and check the value of i, when it does. It's probably as simple as changing
code :
(cbControls.Count + tbControls.Count)
(cbControls.Count + tbControls.Count) - 1

Pull the code from branch to local and test in local, then revert the local to master without carrying any changes from

seems to work fine This should do it:
git checkout -b dev - create a local branch. git pull origin dev - update with dev branch from server git push origin dev - push changes (new modules etc.), the checkout to master (git checkout master) git branch -d dev - delete local dev branch, now you only have master which is unchanged.

wish helps you I have a table with following prototype: , When I tried running your procedure, I got the following error:
code :
DELIMITER ;;
CREATE PROCEDURE STRGEN ( IN ITER INT) BEGIN
    DECLARE COUNTER INT DEFAULT 0;
    DECLARE _STR VARCHAR(1000) DEFAULT ''; -- change the initial value to ''

    WHILE COUNTER < @ITER DO
        -- SET _STR = CONCAT(_STR , CHAR(RAND()*100+65));

        -- if I change the logic for generating random char, then I get expected result
        SET _STR = CONCAT(_STR , LEFT(MD5(RAND()), 1));
        SET COUNTER = COUNTER + 1;
    END WHILE;

    INSERT INTO T2 VALUES(RAND()*100 , _STR);
END;;
