this will help struct Songs *songs; forward declares a struct named Songs, which stays as an incomplete type. What you probably meant is struct Song *songs;.

Any of those help for your help everyone. It was actually a memory issue elsewhere. The above code is correct.
A Struct with an Array of Structs with Arrays inside Them (and an Array) inside It: How would I malloc this?

it fixes the issue You don't have a pointer member inside your structure property so you don't need to malloc any of your structure members.
When you malloc for the structure it will give you enough memory to hold all the structure members including arrays, exceptions are pointer structure members(You don't have any).

like below fixes the issue I don't see any assurance that when MallocandInitialize is called, E is assigned a particular value.
Are you sure that E is greater than zero?

Hope that helps There is no struct S, only S which is a typedef of anonymous structure.
Define struct S too:
code :
typedef struct S {
  char id;
  struct S *children[SIZE];
}S;
typedef struct S S;
struct S {
  char id;
  S *children[SIZE];
};
arr[0].children[0] = malloc(sizeof(S));

I wish this help you I need to simulate a hard disk for a college assignment. I have a char array inside a struct, another struct has an array of the last struct and so on. The teacher asked for it to be done this way. , while (cylinder[j].track[t].sector[s * 4].bytes_s[0] != 0) {
