Difference between initialize a string to "" or to "".ToString() - Which one should I use?

it fixes the issue String.ToString() just returns the string itself :
code :
    public override String ToString() {
        Contract.Ensures(Contract.Result<String>() != null);
        return this;

ViewData["s"].ToString() vs. Request.QueryString["s"].ToString(), what is returned if "s"

this one helps. Both ViewData and QueryString will return null for non-existent key. When you're trying to call a method (in your case, ToString) on a null object reference, you get a NullReferenceException.
I'm not sure what's not clear in this situation.

What's the difference of "./configure" option "--build", "--host" and "--target"

Does that help As noted in this blog post and alluded to in the GCC Configure Terms, --target only applies when you are compiling toolchains. When you are doing normal cross-compilation of a library or binary you use
code :
--build=the architecture of the build machine
--host=the architecture that you want the file to run on
./configure --build=powerpc --host=mips
./configure --build=powerpc --host=i686 --target=mips

Elasticsearch: Difference between "Term", "Match Phrase", and "Query String"

I wish this help you term query matches a single term as it is : the value is not analyzed. So, it doesn't have to be lowercased depending on what you have indexed.
If you provided Bennett at index time and the value is not analyzed, the following query won't return anything :
code :
  "query": {
    "term" : { "user" : "bennett" }
{ "foo":"I just said hello world" }

{ "foo":"Hello world" }

{ "foo":"World Hello" }
  "query": {
    "match_phrase": {
      "foo": "Hello World"
  "query": {
    "query_string": {
      "query": "hello World"
  "query": {
    "query_string": {
      "query": "\"Hello World\""

What is the difference between "Paths.get("").toAbsolutePath().toString()" and "System.getPrope

this will help Paths.get("").toAbsolutePath().toString() is the current working directory; where you were when you launched the program. It is exactly the same thing as System.getProperty("user.dir") and I would prefer the second one (it's shorter, and more obvious in what it does). But, since they are the same thing, you can use either (or both) for determining the source and destination.
