TypeScript changes do not reflect on browser

Hope this helps To use Webpack hot module reload and see your (front-end) changes without restarting the application has to access through http://localhost:9060/
Instead, http://localhost:9000/ is a proxy for http://localhost:9060/, which allows you to use BrowserSync to test multiple browsers simultaneously.

Typescript Reflect-MetaData in nodejs

This might help you Does anyone have any examples of how to use reflect-metadata in nodejs? I am using atom-typescript also. I downloaded using it via npm but i keep getting random errors. I see Reflect is a blank object. Just looking for an example of how to incorporate this into a module or node project. , In TypeScript@2.0+, you can use it like this:
code :
npm i -S reflect-metadata
npm i -D @types/reflect-metadata

// your.ts
import 'reflect-metadata'

What is reflect-metadata in typescript

I think the issue was by ths following , reflect-metadata Allows you to do runtime reflection on types.
The native (non reflect-metadata) version of type inference is much poorer than reflect-metadata and consists only of typeof and instanceof.

Typescript reflect public / private

I hope this helps you . TypeScript emits additional metadata with emitDecoratorMetadata compiler option which is available with reflect-metadata polyfill for metadata proposal.
As the proposal states, there can be design-time metadata emitted for property type, method parameter and method return value types.
code :
class Test {
  @Public test1?: any;
  @Private private test2?: any;

Typescript decorators + Reflect metadata

seems to work fine The problem is getMetadata goes down the prototype chain and will always return what is defined on the base type (since that gets assigned first). You need to use getOwnMetadata to get the array field of the current class only when you add a new field and when getting the fields you need to walk up the property chain to get all base class fields.
This should work:
code :
import 'reflect-metadata'
export function Field(): PropertyDecorator {
  return (target, key) => {
      const fields = Reflect.getOwnMetadata('fields', target) || [];
      if (!fields.includes(key)) {
      Reflect.defineMetadata('fields', fields, target)

abstract class Form {
  get fields() {
      let fields = []
      let target = Object.getPrototypeOf(this);
      while(target != Object.prototype) {
        let childFields = Reflect.getOwnMetadata('fields', target) || [];
        target = Object.getPrototypeOf(target);
      return fields;

abstract class UserForm extends Form {
  public firstName!: string

  public lastName!: string

  get fullName() {
      return this.firstName + ' ' + this.lastName;

class AdminForm extends UserForm {
  roles!: string[]

const form1 = new AdminForm()
console.log(form1.fields) // ['roles', 'firstName', 'lastName']

class MemberForm extends UserForm {
  memberSince!: Date;

const form2 = new MemberForm()
console.log(form2.fields) // ["memberSince", "firstName", "lastName"]
