Changing CSS with the checkbox check

By : nikhil

To fix this issue So, the adjacent sibling selector + https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Adjacent_sibling_combinator will target the element immediately AFTER the element being referenced.
In your code, input[type=checkbox]:checked + .thumbs li it is looking for a class for thumbs immediately after the checkbox. In this case, .thumbs is the name of the (grand) parent UL item.

Changing the size of a checkbox and the check mark in it

I wish this helpful for you The XAML for the default a made up example of a BulletDecorator can be found here on MSDN. Almost the entire chunk of XAML on that page deals with the appearance and behavior of the BulletDecorator.
At the heart of all that XAML are two Path objects. The first for the checkmark, and the second for the indeterminate mark (though the name 'InderminateMark' is spelled wrong in the sample XAML. Fortunately, it's spelled consistently wrong everywhere in the CheckBox example, so it's OK.
code :
            <Path Visibility="Collapsed"
                  Width="7"
                  Height="7"
                  x:Name="CheckMark"
                  SnapsToDevicePixels="False"
                  StrokeThickness="2"
                  Data="M 0 0 L 7 7 M 0 7 L 7 0">
              <Path.Stroke>
                <SolidColorBrush Color="{DynamicResource GlyphColor}" />
              </Path.Stroke>
            </Path>
            <Path Visibility="Collapsed"
                  Width="7"
                  Height="7"
                  x:Name="InderminateMark"
                  SnapsToDevicePixels="False"
                  StrokeThickness="2"
                  Data="M 0 7 L 7 0">
              <Path.Stroke>
                <SolidColorBrush Color="{DynamicResource GlyphColor}" />
              </Path.Stroke>
            </Path>

Changing Default Color of Android CheckBox Check Mark

seems to work fine Unfortunately, changing the colour isn't a simple attribute. The checkmark is an image, so you have to create a custom image. Take a look at this example
Create a selector xml file such as this:
code :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<selector xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">
    <item android:state_checked="true" android:drawable="@drawable/star_down" />
    <item android:state_checked="false" android:drawable="@drawable/star" />
</selector>
<CheckBox
    android:text="Custom CheckBox"
    android:button="@drawable/checkbox_selector"
    android:layout_width="wrap_content"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content"/>

Check/Uncheck the checkbox by changing values in options in different rows

With these it helps The problem maybe is the traversing of the checkbox. Based on the markup above, you could do something like this:
code :
$(document).ready(function(){
    $('.redeemOptions').on('change', function(){
        var value = $(this).val();
        var status = (value == 'CD') ? true : false;
        $(this).closest('tr').children()[0].childNodes[0].checked = status;
    });
});
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
<form>
<table>
<tbody>
    <tr>
  <td><input type="checkbox" name="userSelection[]" ></td>
  <td>ring1</td>
  <td>2014-09-28</td>
  <td>type1</td>
  <td>
      <div class="col-lg-8">
            <select name="type" class="form-control redeemOptions">
            <option value="None">None</option>
            <option value="CD">CherieDori Credit (CD)</option>
            <option value="Amex">American Express Card (Amex)</option>
        </select>
    </div>
  </td>
</tr>
<tr>
  <td><input type="checkbox" name="userSelection[]" ></td>
  <td>ring2</td>
  <td>2014-09-28</td>
  <td>type2</td>
  <td>
      <div class="col-lg-8">
            <select name="type" class="form-control redeemOptions">
            <option value="None">None</option>
            <option value="CD">CherieDori Credit (CD)</option>
            <option value="Amex">American Express Card (Amex)</option>
        </select>
    </div>
  </td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</form>
<td><input type="checkbox" name="salesIds[]" value="<?php echo $sale['id']; ?>" /></td>
$('.selection').on('click', function(){
    var checked = $('input[name="salesIds[]"]:checked').serialize();
    window.location.href = 'actions.php?j=5&' + checked;
});
$_GET['salesIds'] // is now an array

Is it possible to stop a checkbox from changing when clicked, pending some check?

I wish this help you Try to use instead of change(), click() function and prevent default action in it. Then on success you could manually change the checkbox state.
Here example
code :
$("#a").click(function(e) {

        $.ajax...
            success: function() {
               $('a').attr('checked','checked')
            },
            error: function() {
                //show error to user. check box should still be unchecked.
            }
        e.preventDefault();
        return false;
    });

PHP changing query when checkbox is check

By : dodders
Date : March 29 2020, 07:55 AM
this will help I am trying to change a part of a query (the part is 'AND meerdere = $postdata') when a checkbox is clicked. If the checkbox is checked, meerdere should be 1 else it should be 0. standard value should be 0 (if checkbox has not been clicked) , When you submit a checkbox it returns their value so, in case of:
code :
<input type="checkbox" name="vehicle" value="Bike">
<form action="/action_page.php" method="post">
  <input type="checkbox" name="vehicle" value="Bike"> I have a bike<br>
  <input type="submit" value="Submit">
</form>
$_POST['vehicle'] == "Bike"
<input type="checkbox" name="postdata" value="1"> checkbox text <br>
if(!isset($_POST['postdata'])) $postdata = 0;
else $postdata = 1;
//check if the value of an input with name="postdata" has been sent
if(isset($_POST["postdata"])){
    //if true, you assign the checkbox value to a var called $postdata
    $postdata = $_POST["postdata"];
  //if not, you assign a String 0 to $postData.
} else {$postdata='0';}
self.postdata = 1;
// or
self.postdata = 0;
postdata = 1;
// or
postdata = 0;
const postdata = document.getElementById("togBtn").checked ? 1 : 0;
