Should a input object be cloned if it is the return value?

To fix the issue you can do when you have a method such as , Since your method signature is this:
code :
public static T[] RemoveFirstElement<T>(this T[] array)
var myArray = SomeArray.RemoveFirstElement();
public static void RemoveFirstElement<T>(this T[] array)
var myArray = SomeArray.RemoveFirstElement();
SomeArray.RemoveFirstElement();

How to print a nested array inside the value of a cloned input object?

this one helps. I have a fiddle , You need to make five copies in order to insert five new inputs:
code :
//create array with values
thisArray= ['',[]];
thisArray[0] = ['numbers',['one','two','three','four','five']];

var newElem;

//search through aray and print the nested array inside the value of the cloned input
for(var i = 0; i<thisArray[0][1].length; i++){
    newElem = $('.input').eq(0).clone();    // <-- cloning moved here!
    newElem.val(thisArray[0][1][i]);
    $('input.input').last().after(newElem);
}

Return a cloned object from Map in Hazelcast

I hope this helps . I'm using Spring @Cacheable annotation with Hazelcast 2.1 and Spring 3.1. , If you don't use near cache and disable the cache-value. Ex:
code :
 <hz:map name="map"
            backup-count="1"
            max-size="0"
            read-backup-data="true"
            cache-value="false"/>

How to clone input field object and have both original and cloned fields be referenced in jQuery?

seems to work fine I have these input fields which I am using jQuery to clone when say "EDIT" button is clicked so I can manipulate the edit display better but I need user input to be referenced to the original so that when they are done editing, the original input fields will contain the value they inputted.
code :
$('.edit').on('click', function(e) {
    e.preventDefault();
    var elems  = $('.wrapper .settings'),
        cloned = elems.clone();

    cloned.find('input[type="text"]').on('keyup', function() {
        elems.find('[name="'+this.name+'"]').val( this.value );
    });

    $('.popup').append(cloned.show());
});

Should be an input data object cloned before it's processed by application logic?

this one helps. If you keep using the input object to hold the entity's data, you will face a problem like the following if you don't clone the object:
code :
var UserModel = function(data) {
  this.data = data;
}
UserModel.prototype.getUsername = function() {
  return this.data.username;
}

var data = {username: 'james'};
var james = new UserModel(data);

data.username = 'john';
var john = new UserModel(data);

console.log(james.getUsername()); // "john"
console.log(john.getUsername());  // "john"
var UserModel = function(data) {
  this.username = data.username;
  this.email = data.email;
}
UserModel.prototype.getUsername = function() {
  return this.username;
}
UserModel.prototype.getEmail = function() {
  return this.email;
}
var UserModel = function(username, email) {
  this.username = username;
  this.email = email;
}
