Why "FormDataMultiPart" type parameter is treated differently

By : Ryan Neeves

Any of those help Generally, all entity body parameters are the parameter without any annotation. Such as with JSON or XML, you would see
code :
@POST
@Consumes({"application/json", "application/xml"})
public Response post(RequestEntity entity) {
}

why two aliases to "array of string" treated differently?

I hope this helps . The key to understanding this issue is the Type Compatibility and Identity topic in the language guide. I suggest you have a good read of that topic.
It is also helpful to simplify the example. The inclusion of generics in the example serves mainly to complicate and confuse matters.
code :
program TypeCompatibilityAndIdentity;
{$APPTYPE CONSOLE}

type
  TInteger1 = Integer;
  TInteger2 = Integer;
  TArray1 = array of Integer;
  TArray2 = array of Integer;
  TArray3 = TArray1;

var
  Integer1: TInteger1;
  Integer2: TInteger2;
  Array1: TArray1;
  Array2: TArray2;
  Array3: TArray3;

begin
  Integer1 := Integer2; // no error here
  Array1 := Array2; // E2010 Incompatible types: 'TArray1' and 'TArray2'
  Array1 := Array3; // no error here
end.

Is "fn ()" treated differently to "fn()" when invoking a function?

wish help you to fix your issue No difference, fn () = fn() = (fn)() but function fn() {} != var fn = function() {} because of how hoisting works.

Does that help This issue has been fixed in the latest SqlPackage.exe release - that's the June 2014 DacFramework.msi release, which is bundled into the July 2014 SQL Server tooling update for Visual Studio. Warnings are now directed to StdOut rather than StdErr.
Please note that as of April 2014 the location of SqlPackage.exe has changed - if installed via SSMS or the DacFramework.msi it is located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\120\DAC\Bin". If installed as part of the SQL Server tooling in VS, it's located under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio \Common7\IDE\Extensions\Microsoft\SQLDB\DAC\120", where VisualStudioVersion is "11.0" for VS2012 and "12.0" for VS2013.

When parsing JSON with Aeson, why is Maybe treated differently when it's in a type parameter?

I think the issue was by ths following , Updated: with a simple solution at the bottom.
This is confusing, but it's working more or less as designed. You could try submitting it as an aeson issue, but I suspect it will be closed as "won't fix".
code :
instance FromJSON a => FromJSON (Bar a) where
  parseJSON = withObject "Bar" $ \v -> Bar
    <$> v .:? "payload"
instance FromJSON a => FromJSON (Foo a) where
  parseJSON = withObject "Foo" $ \v -> Foo
    <$> v .: "payload"
> toJSON (Foo (Nothing :: Maybe String))
Object (fromList [("payload",Null)])
> toJSON (Bar (Nothing :: Maybe String))
Object (fromList [("payload",Null)])
instance {-# OVERLAPPING #-} FromJSON a => FromJSON (Foo (Maybe a))
instance FromJSON a => FromJSON (Foo a)

Are .h files treated differently by the compiler or "just" a naming convention?

I wish this helpful for you Technically, there is no difference between any extension as far as the compiler is concerned. It's same as if you had typed manually the contents of any file in place where you put the #include. You can type #include "foo.pdf" and the compiler will include a file foo.pdf successfully, as long as that file contains code (despite the extension)
By convention now, one usually puts declarations in .h/hpp files (or template definitions) and the implementation in .c/cpp files.
