Convert hashmap to simple object in Groovy

hope this fix your issue In groovy you can programmatically add new properties to any object through the object's metaClass:
code :
Object mapped = new Object()
mapped.metaClass."myNewProperty" = valueObj
assert mapped.myNewProperty.equals(valueObj)
import java.time.LocalDateTime

Map properties = [enable_api_security: false, owner: 'Hello', time: LocalDateTime.now()]

Object enhanced = new Object()
properties.each { key, value ->
    enhanced.metaClass."$key" = value
}

println enhanced.enable_api_security
println enhanced.owner
println enhanced.time

Convert Hashmap with simple, indexed, nested, or combined type attributes as keys into a Java Bean

To fix the issue you can do BeanUtils don't create objects instances for you inside axNew instance. So, calling
code :
BeanUtils.setProperty(axNew, "bxs[0].cxs[0].cxAttr", "Some value");
axNew.setBxs(new ArrayList<Bx>());
axNew.getBsx().add(new Bx());
// should works fine
BeanUtils.setProperty(axNew, "bxs[0].bxAttr", "Some value");

How to Convert Stream Stream<HashMap<String, Object>> to HashMap Array HashMap<String, Object>[]?

should help you out The following should work. Unfortunately, you have to suppress the unchecked warning.
code :
@SuppressWarnings("unchecked")
HashMap<String, Object>[] arr = imagesStream.toArray(HashMap[]::new);
@SuppressWarnings({"unchecked", "rawtypes"})
HashMap<String, Object>[] array = stream.toArray(n -> new HashMap[n]);
@SuppressWarnings({"unchecked", "rawtypes"})
HashMap<String, Object>[] array = stream.toArray(new IntFunction<HashMap[]>() {
    public HashMap[] apply(int n) {
        return new HashMap[n];
    }
});

How to convert simple groovy script to lucene expression (or use different method)?

will be helpful for those in need Just an attempt, it should be a pretty general approach though. Use a function_score to define your own filters that should be rated differently, based on the value of user.roles field. In my example, I think you should replace "match_all": {} with whatever you have under query (this is the reason why I asked about the full query):
code :
{
  "query": {
    "function_score": {
      "query": {
        "match_all": {}
      },
      "functions": [
        {
          "filter": {
            "term": {
              "user.roles": "contributor"
            }
          },
          "weight": 1
        },
        {
          "filter": {
            "bool": {
              "must_not": [
                {
                  "term": {
                    "user.roles": "contributor"
                  }
                }
              ]
            }
          },
          "weight": 2
        }
      ],
      "boost_mode": "replace"
    }
  },
  "sort": [
    {
      "_score": {
        "order": "asc"
      }
    }
  ]
}

def s1 = /d:\code/
def s2 = $/d:\code/$
s1.equals(s2) // true
def s3 = /This - \/ - is the forward slash/
// This - / - is the forward slash
