fixed the issue. Will look into that further Considering the directory scenario you mentioned in your OP, you can add your library via local path, as mentioned in the NPM docs: Local Paths:
code :
- Root
|
 -- Project One
|
 -- Project Two
|
 -- Library usued across both projects
"dependencies" : {
  "my-shared-library" : "file:../Library usued across both projects",
}
"dependencies" : {
  "my-shared-library" : "Git repo address here. There are various ways to specify an address. See below.",
}
"dependencies" : {
  "my-shared-library" : "git+ssh://git@my-companys-treasure.com/my-shared-library.git",
}
"dependencies" : {
  "my-shared-library" : "git+ssh://git@my-companys-treasure.com/my-shared-library.git#branch-v4.2.0",
}
"dependencies" : {
  "my-shared-library" : "git+ssh://git@my-companys-treasure.com/my-current-project.git#branch-for-my-shared-library",
}

help you fix your problem It appears that you are not using a true Android Library Project, described here: http://developer.android.com/tools/projects/index.html.
The "Complete Action Using" Dialog appears when firing an Intent to load an Activity that may not be in the same Application.

WP8 Multiple projects share code by Windows Phone Class Library, but can't share AppResources.resx

Does that help You need to reference that shared resource from each project's App.xaml:
code :
<Application
    ...
    xmlns:lib="clr-namespace:YourApp.LibClassProj;assembly=YourApp.LibClassProj">

    <Application.Resources>
        <ResourceDictionary>
            <ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries>
               ...
            </ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries>

            <lib:LocalizedStrings x:Key="LocalizedStrings"/>
        </ResourceDictionary>
    </Application.Resources>
</Application>
<TextBlock Text="{Binding Source={StaticResource LocalizedStrings}, Path=LocalizedResources.strTestButtonTitleClose}"/>

How to share a single library source across multiple projects

this one helps. (as of version 2.1+):
Below are the steps that I took to share library source outside of the project directory. Instead of plain Java library, my codes are compiled as Android module, but that library module is not contained inside the main project. It is fine with me as long as there are no code duplications and I only need to maintain one set of library code for all projects:
code :
apply plugin: 'com.android.application'
apply plugin: 'com.android.library'
include ':app', '..:LibraryProject:yourLibraryModule'
  /MainProject
    + build.gradle
    + settings.gradle
    + app/
      + build.gradle
      + src/

  /LibraryProject
    + build.gradle
    + settings.gradle
    + app/
      + build.gradle
      + src/
  /MainProject
    + build.gradle
    + settings.gradle
    + MainModule/
      + build.gradle
      + src/

  /LibraryProject
    + build.gradle
    + settings.gradle
    + LibraryModule/
      + build.gradle
      + src/
include ':LibraryModule', ':app'
project(':LibraryModule').projectDir = new File(settingsDir, '../LibraryProject/LibraryModule')
buildTypes {
    release {
        minifyEnabled true
        proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android.txt'), 'proguard-project.txt'
    }
    debug {
        minifyEnabled false
    }
}
buildTypes {
    release {
        consumerProguardFiles 'proguard-project.txt'
    }
}

How can I share an Angular 2 component between multiple Angular 2 projects?

I wish did fix the issue. You can create an angular2 component library (with tests) and then use it in any number of projects

How to share a library in multiple other projects with GIT or VisualStudio

I wish this help you I think in your case the Common Lib evolves as Project1 and Project2 evolves. Then a repository with submodules would suit you. Create a separate git-repository with Common Lib as project. Then add this repository as submodule to Project1 and Project2. Then, during development process you can easily change the code of Common Lib and commit it.
Another solution is to create a nuget-package from Common Lib. This is in my opinion a bit cumbersome if you have frequent changes in Common Lib. The reason is that you have to frequently publish new version of this nuget-package, either manually or by script.
