heroku - Couldn't find that process type (web)

this will help Make sure that you have a Procfile that is in the same directory as your Pipfile and Pipfile.lock files.
I'm using django and in Procfile I had:

web: gunicorn <my_project_name>.wsgi --log-file -

Heroku Procfile with web process type

I wish this helpful for you By default, Heroku runs one Dyno for the web process, and it receives inbound HTTP traffic. This will happen soon after your first deployment. You can choose to scale up/down the number of dynos for each process type if required, including not running a web process at all.

change flask.ext.migrate to flask_migrate hence code lines go as

Any of those help I found out what the problem was, in my project, I wasn't pushing to the master branch, and I was performing the wrong git code. So the correct way to push to Heroku if you are working on a different branch is the following:

wish helps you This may happen if your procfile is misspelt, such as "procfile" or "ProcFile" etc. The file name should be "Procfile" (with a capital P).
sometimes changing the file name is not anough, because git wouldn't spot the change. I had to delete the Procfile completely, then commit the change, than add it again with the right name, and then commit that again:

Does that help I am working on linux terminal, when i try the command - heroku create It works , Use this:
