Why is nomad listening on port 80?

I wish did fix the issue. According to this website https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.1e.com/news-insights/blogs/nomad-peer-peer-sharing/amp/ nomad uses http for p2p sharing. The default for this protocol is to use port 80 for communication, so that is probably why. I'm not sure how to go about changing it, but I would imagine it to be changeable.

Is it possible to map a port using UPnP, with SOAP, to bind to a local port where my http server is listening?

I think the issue was by ths following , You can see a good example as part of the Coherence DNLA/UPnP framework in a Python module called "Puncher" ("punches" holes in your firewall, duh! :o) which can create port mappings of external ports (like port 8080) to internal ports of your choosing:

if I am listening on 2 ports with one Listening Socket how can I tell which port received the packet?

it fixes the issue What? The port number that you are listening on will not be the same port number that your remote peer will send you packets on. You would have to remember which port number you accepted the connection with.
Try using getpeername if you want to get the port number that you and your peer are using.

may help you . I'd recommend you to use Parse SDK (http://parse.com). Their SDK handles in-app purchases with receipt verification, and it's really easy to set it up. Examples from their docs:
code :
// "Listen" for each purchase that can be made in the app
[PFPurchase addObserverForProduct:@"Pro" block:^(SKPaymentTransaction *transaction) {
    // Write business logic that should run once this product is purchased.
    isPro = YES;
}];

// Perform the purchase
[PFPurchase buyProduct:@"Pro" block:^(NSError *error) {
    if (!error) {
        // Run UI logic that informs user the product has been purchased, such as displaying an alert view.
    }
}];

How would you use Hashicorp's Nomad 'template stanza' to generate an nginx config file through the Nomad job file?

I hope this helps you . I just put together a little Nomad job showing this working, so you may have a slight configuration error. To allow you to run the job yourself I have made it available as a gist here. In the same gist I have a nginx.conf that has nginx listen on whatever port is in the Nomad job file.
Here is the Nomad job:
code :
job "nginx" {
  datacenters = ["dc1"]
  type = "service"
  group "cache" {
    count = 1
    task "redis" {
      driver = "docker"
      config {
        image = "nginx:1.11.10"
        volumes = ["new/default.conf:/etc/nginx/conf.d/default.conf" ]
        network_mode = "host"
      }

      artifact {
        source = "https://gist.githubusercontent.com/dadgar/2dcf68ab5c49f7a36dcfe74171ca7936/raw/c287c16dbc9ddc16b18fa5c65a37ff25d2e0e667/nginx.conf"
      }

      template {
        source        = "local/nginx.conf"
        destination   = "new/default.conf"
        change_mode   = "restart"
      }

      resources {
        network {
          mbits = 10
          port "nginx" {
            static = 8080
          }
        }
      }
    }
  }
}
$ curl http://127.0.0.1:8080
<!DOCTYPE html>

Socket bound on one port, but tools like netstat and lsof show it listening on some other port

To fix the issue you can do The relevant code is below. I bind the socket on port 12345, and the code works completely as expected. It responds to requests on that port and everything.
