it helps some times You could use any for the inner loop (and break from the outer loop)...
code :
for i in some_list:
    if any(y['name'].lower() == findperson.lower() for y in some_list[i]):
        print('Friend found')
        break
else:
    print('Friend not found')
if any(y['name'].lower() == findperson.lower()
       for i in some_list for y in some_list[i]):
    print('Friend found')
else:
    print('Friend not found')
for i in some_list:
    friend = next((y for y in some_list[i] if y['name'].lower() == findperson.lower()), None)
    if friend is not None:
        print('Friend found:', friend)
        break
else:
    print('Friend not found')
friend = next((y for i in some_list for y in some_list[i]
                 if y['name'].lower() == findperson.lower()),
              None)
if friend is not None:
    print('Friend found:', friend)
else:
    print('Friend not found')

wish help you to fix your issue a for loop or a foreach loop will work fine, but it will be a lot less coding if you just create a single for loop and push content into an array of arrays or an array of strings... you can then do whatever you'd like with the actual content (assuming we're grouping by a column category. I'll use an example that uses an array of strings (and the query that I reference is explained here: http://explainextended.com/2009/03/06/advanced-row-sampling/)
code :
$query = mysql_query([QUERY THAT GETS ALL ITEMS, BUT LIMITS BY EACH CATEGORY]) or die(mysql_error());
$all_items = array();
while($row=mysql_fetch_array($query)){
   if (!isset($all_items[$row['category']])){ //if it isn't created yet, make it an empty string
       $all_items[$row['category']] = "";
   }
   $all_items[$row['category']] .= "<li><a href='".$row['url']."'>".$row['title]."</a></li>"; //concatinate the new item to this list
}
echo  $all_items['category name'];

will help you Your first method returns whether or not the last person in the party has a faerie charm, not whether anyone does. You'll probably need to refactor your methods so that they return the information for each ally. You could do this by changing your first method to
code :
public List<bool> aFaerie_Charm()
{
    var allylist = new List<Obj_AI_Hero>();
    allylist.AddRange(HeroManager.Allies);
    List<bool> z = new List<bool>();
    for (int i = 0; i < allylist.Count; i++) //allylist.count = 4
    {
        z.Add(Items.HasItem((int)ItemId.Faerie_Charm, allylist[i]));
    }
    return z;
}
public void printHasFaerieCharm()
{
    List<bool> charms = aFaerieCharm();
    for (int i = 0; i < charms.Count; ++i)
    {
        Console.WriteLine("Ally " + (i + 1) + ": " + (charms[i] ? ".25" : "false"));
     }
}

This might help you On attempting to produce Automatic Peak Detection in Noisy Periodic and Quasi-Periodic Signals, by Felix Scholkmann, Jens Boss and Martin Wolf in Python, I've hit a stumbling block in the implementation. , Here is a solution which uses only one loop
code :
for k in range(1, L):
    mat=1-((signal[k+1:N-k]>signal[1:N-2*k]) & (signal[k+1:N-k]>signal[2*k+1:N]))
    LSM[k,k+2:N-k+1]*=mat
