it helps some times A bit unclear why and exactly where you are stuck. Possibly the extra . as in height = {}px. is creating the chaos. Perhaps along with -headless argument I am able to set/retrieve the Chrome browser Window Size as follows:
code :
from selenium import webdriver
from selenium.webdriver.chrome.options import Options

options = Options()
options.add_argument("--headless")
options.add_argument("window-size=1400,600")
driver = webdriver.Chrome(chrome_options=options, executable_path=r'C:\Utility\BrowserDrivers\chromedriver.exe', service_args=["--log-path=./Logs/DubiousDan.log"])
driver.get("http://google.com/")
print ("Headless Chrome Initialized")
print(driver.get_window_size())
driver.set_window_size(1920, 1080)
size = driver.get_window_size()
print("Window size: width = {}px, height = {}px".format(size["width"], size["height"]))
driver.quit()
Headless Chrome Initialized
{'width': 1400, 'height': 600}
Window size: width = 1920px, height = 1080px

Hope this helps The are some problems with automation testing in Chrome and Opera browsers.
Issues:
code :
ChromeDriver driver = new ChromeDriver(capabilities);
driver.get("chrome://extensions-frame");
WebElement checkbox = driver.findElement(By.xpath("//label[@class='incognito-control']/input[@type='checkbox']"));
if (!checkbox.isSelected()) {
    checkbox.click();
}
OperaDriver driver = new OperaDriver(capabilities);
driver.get("chrome://extensions");
WebElement checkbox = driver.findElement(By.xpath("//div[contains(@class, 'incognito-control')]/label/input[@type='checkbox']"));
if (!checkbox.isSelected()) {
    checkbox.click();
}

I think the issue was by ths following , Which version of chromedriver do you use? This problem happened to me before I upgraded to version 2.28 along with update of Chrome to v57 (previously I used 2.26 and the error with the very same message as yours appeared).

Hope that helps It doesn't look like this is possible using any settings in selenium. However... You can automate adding the domain you wish to exclude after creating the driver.
Before your test actually starts, but after you've initialized the browser, navigate to chrome-extension://[your AdBlock extention ID]/options.html. AdBlock extension ID is unique to the crx file. So go into chrome and find the value in the extension manager. For example, mine is gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom.

it should still fix some issue Here is what might help you with your problem if you want to start with an already maximized window:
code :
options = webdriver.ChromeOptions()
options.add_argument("--start-maximized")
options.add_argument('window-size=2560,1440')
driver = webdriver.Chrome(chrome_options=options)

wish help you to fix your issue So this is just weird. I can't seem to do a very simple task with selenum; change the size of the window. As the title states, im using Python on a Mac and specifically using chromedriver. , i guess you can try
code :
from selenium.webdriver import Chrome
driver = Chrome()
driver.set_window_position(0, 0)
driver.set_window_size(1024, 768)
