Using lambda inside a function

Using lambda inside a function

To fix this issue mydoubler is what myfunc(2) returns. It returns a lambda that accepts a single argument, a.
When you call on a function like this: myfunction(this_argument), it is going to resolve to what is returned in that spot. So this is effectively the same as writing mydoubler = lambda a : a * 2

Does that help I am reading through some code trying to better understand how it works and I came across this lambda function (I really don't quite get lambda) , In python, a function signature can look like
code :
def func(arg, *args, **kwargs):
def func(**params):
    self.callMethod(aname, rargs, oargs, **params)

I think the issue was by ths following , In Scheme, continuations are first-class. A captured continuation is just another value. Pass it in to your month function as another argument:
code :
(define (month n throw) ; check if it's a month number (1-12)
  (if (or (not (integer? n)) (< n 1) (> n 12))
    (throw -1)
    (display n)))
     ....
     (month 12 throw)
     ....
     (month 10 throw)
     ....

I think the issue was by ths following , You need to make the lamdba mutable as the closure variables are const-qualified by default.
code :
auto thread = std::thread([uptr{ std::move(uptr) }]() mutable {
                                                    //^^^^^^

     f1(std::move(uptr)); /* Works, no constness-violation.*/
 });

wish of those help The by-reference capture [&] causes the lambda to hold a reference to w after it has expired. You either need to copy w [=] or move it into the lambda (C++14):
code :
r.receive([w=std::move(w)]() {
    cout << "Before" << endl;
    w();
    cout << "After" << endl;
});

like below fixes the issue When I try to print and see what each function does, I'm able to call only the h function. All others return functions.
code :
two_to_one = lambda g: (lambda y: g(y,y))
lambda x, y: x*y
one_to_two = lambda f: (lambda x, y: f(x) + f(y))
first = lambda x, y: x*y
second = lambda y: first(y,y)
third = lambda x, y: second(x) + second(y)
second = lambda y: y * y
third = lambda x, y: second(x) + second(y)
third = lambda x, y: x * x + y * y
