it should still fix some issue Using WinForms for dynamic graphics purposes is not a good idea. Instead of controls, try using Graphics and draw desired object on form (or panel or anywhere you want to).

I hope this helps . The mathematical operation convolution (which can be efficiently implemented with the Fast Fourier Transform) can be used for this.

I wish did fix the issue. OK the flickering you are getting is the load time it takes to download the image or in the 3sample you provided loading the image from disk. If you want to avoid this you need to preload the image in one way or another.
You find an open source preload easy. What I would do is create an array of image containers and just remove current element from stage and then add the next one in the array when you want to change images.

I think the issue was by ths following , I have this script which fades in an element when I scroll more than 145px from the top. , You must clear the jQuery animation queue each time. Try this.
code :
$(window).scroll(function(){

if ($(this).scrollTop() > 145) {
$('#fademenu').stop().fadeIn();
}
else {
$('#fademenu').stop().fadeOut();
}

});

Does that help it appears to be related to the webkit transition filter in your .box:hover
Maybe this will help? Prevent flicker on webkit-transition of webkit-transform
