To fix this issue You can use the location object in the web client to find out everything you need to know about the server.
code :
var HOST = location.origin.replace(/^http/, 'ws')
var ws =  io.connect(HOST + namespace);
 var socket = io();

help you fix your problem Looks like the Heroku load balancer cannot reach your application because it listens on localhost only (IP address 127.0.0.1). Moreover, Heroku allocates port numbers dynamically and assigns the current value to the PORT environment variable.
Try the following Procfile instead:
code :
web: gunicorn --bind 0.0.0.0:$PORT main-api:app

I wish did fix the issue. This cannot work the way you're building it.
OpenCV will try to open the camera on the same machine as the server is currently running. On localhost, that's your own laptop. On heroku, that's a server somewhere in an AWS datacenter (and it doesn't have a webcam).

fixed the issue. Will look into that further
What I want to do is to create excel spreadsheet with data from the database, and then I want the user to print it or download it on his computer
code :
os.startfile("C:\\Users\\Nenad\\Desktop\\magacin vs\\ISPRATNICI\\{}, {}.xlsx".format(s.id, s.ime))
from flask import send_file

@app.route("/proverka", methods=['GET', 'POST'])
def proverka():
    # ...
    send_file('ISPRATNICI\\{}, {}.xlsx'.format(s.id, s.ime))

seems to work fine I am now using OSX and heroku to deploy my flask app. When deployed the heroku wkhtmltopdf binary is in ./bin/wkhtmltopdf. So I wrote this code to deal with this.
code :
if (platform.system() == 'Darwin'):
    config = pdfkit.configuration()
else:
    config = pdfkit.configuration(wkhtmltopdf='./bin/wkhtmltopdf')
