How to disable all network connections in Java

How to disable all network connections in Java

I wish did fix the issue. You can do this by enabling default Java security manager. By default no security is enforced so you are allowed to do anything, but if security manager is enabled it will restrict network access, file access and lots of other things unless you specify otherwise in the security policy file.
To enable the default security manager pass this argument to JVM on start.
code :
java -Djava.security.manager=default my.main.Class

I wish did fix the issue. That's how connection pooling works. The pool opens N number of physical database connections and when the application acquires a connection, it will get a JDBC Connection proxy, and not an actual Driver Connection object.
When the application transaction is done, the Connection.close() method is called. The proxy will intercept the close method and simply return the Connection object to the pool, instead of actually closing the physical connection.

help you fix your problem If your system has multiple network interfaces and one of them is receiving local connections only while others should be ignored, you can set up a ServerSocket with the IP-address of the netork interface to bind it only to that particular interface:
code :
ServerSocket ssocket = new ServerSocket(1234, 10, InetAddress.getByAddress("192.168.1.1"));
