May I use com.google.code prefix for my packages?

seems to work fine the name of your packages does not have to reflect the domain it's hosted at.
I think using com.google prefix will mislead your users into thinking the code was developed at google. don't do it unless you want to handle the backfire from your users when they realize it's not.

will help you If the classes are coming from a %import directive for another SWIG module you can use %typemap("javapackage"), e.g.
code :
%typemap("javapackage") Box2D, Box2D *, Box2D & "my.core.Box2D";
swig -c++ -Wall -java -package my.core.Box2D -outdir my/core/Box2D box2d.i
%typemap(jstype) Box2D "my.core.Box2D"

hop of those help? The $addressPart where the postal_code has been taken from contains the type postal_code, but when you inspect the response you'll see that it also contains the type postal_code_prefix.... and that's what you got. Skip the $addressPart when the types contains postal_code_prefix
code :
else if(in_array('postal_code', $addressPart->types)
         && !in_array('postal_code_prefix', $addressPart->types)){

Hope this helps Create either sitecustomize.py or usercustomize.py and append to site.PREFIXES
code :
import site
SITEPKGS = '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages'
site.PREFIXES += ['/usr/local']
export PYTHONUSERBASE=/usr/local
export PYTHONPATH=/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages:$PYTHONPATH
$ PYTHONPATH=/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages python

Does that help This seems to provide the behaviour I'm looking for. However, if there is a more elegant solution, for example by passing certain parameters to setup(), I'd be happy to hear about that.
code :
from setuptools import setup, find_packages
from setuptools.command.install import install

class CustomInstall(install):
    """Ensures the module is placed at the root of the zip file."""

    def initialize_options(self):
        self.prefix = ''
        self.install_lib = ''

    cmdclass={'install': CustomInstall},
    author='my name',
    data_files=[('my_package', ['README.md'])],
