will help you To strictly answer your question, queries that specify a property of a class in the select clause (and optionally call aggregate functions) return "scalar" results i.e. a Object[] (or a List). See 10.4.1.3. Scalar results.
But your current query doesn't work. You'll need something like this:

should help you out Assuming all arrays in the list have the same size (because otherwise makeinnerset would bomb ,too):
code :
int columns = ((Object[])data.first()).size()

wish of those help I am new to both Java and Hibernate. I am following the most rudimentary examples for doing a query with criteria that I find in the Hibernate documentation and a number of tutorials. With this code: , You have incorrect imports at the top of the class. Replace
code :
import org.hibernate.mapping.List;
import java.util.List

This might help you your dict is not dict because you made it as list.
So, I added [0] to index from list.
code :
my_dict = [{"1": "A", "2": "B", "3": "C"}]
my_list = ['1', '2']
result = [my_dict[0][k] for k in my_list]

print (result)
['A', 'B']

With these it helps As an option how it could be implemented is Logback Appender Once you will have logs into appender you can implement filtering and whatever you need.
1.Add dependency to logback-classic
code :
<dependency>
   <groupId>ch.qos.logback</groupId>
   <artifactId>logback-classic</artifactId>
   <version>1.2.3</version>
</dependency>
<configuration>
    <appender name="list" class="com.test.ListAppender"/>
    <root level="info">
        <appender-ref ref="list"/>
    </root>
</configuration>
package com.test;

import ch.qos.logback.classic.spi.ILoggingEvent;
import ch.qos.logback.core.AppenderBase;

import java.util.LinkedList;
import java.util.List;

public class ListAppender extends AppenderBase<ILoggingEvent> {

    private static List<ILoggingEvent> eventList = new LinkedList<>();

    @Override
    protected void append(ILoggingEvent event) {
        eventList.add(event);
    }

    public List<ILoggingEvent> getEventList() {
        return eventList;
    }
}
package com.test;

import org.slf4j.Logger;
import org.slf4j.LoggerFactory;

public class Main {
    private static final Logger logger = LoggerFactory.getLogger(Main.class);

    static ListAppender listAppender = new ListAppender();

    public static void main(String[] args) {
        logger.info("Hello World");
        listAppender.getEventList().forEach(entry -> System.out.println("print log from list:" + entry));
        System.out.println();
    }
}

Hope this helps You can write a function inside your repository which will return a Long or int (depends on your database size) type and is annotated with @Query
code :
@Query(value = "SELECT SUM(age) FROM Person", nativeQuery = true)
Long getAgeSum();
@Query(value = "SELECT SUM(p.age) FROM Person p WHERE p.id IN :idList", nativeQuery = true)
Long getAgeSum(@Param("idList") List<String> idList);
@Query(value = "SELECT SUM(p.age) FROM Person p WHERE p.jobName=:jobNameParam", nativeQuery = true)
Long getAgeSum(@Param("jobNameParam") String jobNameParam);
