To fix this issue There are several RabbitMQ control .bat files on windows. Every one you use needs to get changed to reflect the Erlang path correctly. In this example, I'm editing the rabbitmq-server.bat because it's one of the easier ones... any of the .bat files you want to run will need this hack to get them to work, with the rabbitmq_service.bat file being the most involved to adjust.
editing that rabbitmq_server.bat file, you can see on about line 48 or so there's a check to see if the erl.exe is found, but the path isn't correct:
code :
if not exist "!ERLANG_HOME!\bin\erl.exe" (
"C:\Program Files\erl5.9.2\erts-5.9.2\bin\erl.exe"

wish helps you So basically all you need is to point your ErlangVM to place where *.beam files are. You can do it with -pa [folder] flag.
You might be already using this flag with ebin folder for your compiled source files, if you fallow standard OTP project structure. And then what most developers do, it to create deps folder where they keep all dependent applications, and adding additional -pa deps/*/ebin flag to erl.

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Using a fresh CentOS 7 VM and the esl-erlang_20.1.7-1~centos~7_amd64.rpm rpm produces this result. You can see that yum can't resolve some dependencies. I am not sure why.
The RabbitMQ team produces zero-dependency RPM files for just this reason. You should uninstall Erlang from your system, and install the package from here.
