This might help you The entire GUI is not thread-safe, the error you see is an intentional check. You have to pass the method to the messagepump to have it executed on the main thread. Use something like:
code :

Share : facebook icon twitter icon

To fix this issue My GUI locks up because I need to update it through the EDT, however, I need to also pass a variable that is being updates with the GUI: , The easiest solution would be to use a final temporary variable:
code :
final int currentNumOfPlayers = numOfPlayers;
EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
    public void run() {
       numPlayers.setText("There are currently " +
               currentNumOfPlayers + " players in this game");

wish of those help I am creating threads in a for loop, and I want to use the for loop's i as the name for each particular thread. When I run this, instead of getting 1,2 or 2,1, I am getting 2,2. Is there a better/safer way to pass variables into a thread? , You can pass variable through the block
code :
ts = []

for i in 1..2 do
  ts.push( Thread.new(i) do |i|
    x = i
    puts x

ts.each do |t|

# => 1
# => 2

this will help You would need to store the arrival and departure time in an instance variable in your search controller, so you can access it during view rendering, i.e. during displaying available rooms.
code :
class SearchController < ApplicationController

  def search
    @arrival   = params[:arrival]
    @departure = params[:departure]

    # Do all the searching and store them in @rooms

    respond_with @rooms

<%= render :partial => 'room', :collection => @rooms %>
<%= link_to "Book room #{room.id}", book_room_path(room, :arrival => @arrival, :departure => @departure %>

This might help you This shouldn't be difficult to do. I think you want to pass BuyerId and BuyerName from the LoginPage to the MainPage upon successful authentication.
Form_Login.cs should look like this.
code :
Form_MainPage frmMainPage = new Form_MainPage();
this.Close(); //or Hide();
