Hope that helps I have a csv file with a 24h time series containing measurements from 7 different valves (solenoid vales) that change every 10 min (valve 1,2,3,4,5,6, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and than start with 1 again). I want to assign a unique Measurement ID to each time a valve measures (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13...) so that I can in an subsequent step extract the last 10 seconds (=lines) of each measurement interval. , To remove any row with missing values:

Hope this helps I believe you have some been misinformed about a few things.
In modern terms clock speed is an indication of speed, not an actual measure of speed - so there is no reasonable way to estimate how long a single instruction may take.

I think the issue was by ths following , By measuring object lifetimes in terms of bytes allocated between instantiation and death, it is easier for the GC algorithm to adapt to program behaviour.
If the rate of object allocation is very slow, a simple time measurement would show long pauses between collections, which would appear to be good. However, if the byte allocation measurement of object lifetimes is high objects may be getting promoted to a survivor space or the old generation too quickly. By measuring the byte allocation the collector could optimise heap sizes more efficiently by expanding the young generation to increase the number of objects that become garbage before a minor collection occurs. Just using time as this measure would not make the need for the heap resizing obvious.

this will help Attributes do not change the way your code is executed. You should implement this time measuring in your server code yourself, from scratch, using Stopwatch or any other native or 3rd party utilities.
It will also be very difficult to handle nested calls.
