To fix this issue It seems from the official documentation that the CookieJar and cookies are very similar indeed:
code :

like below fixes the issue A WWW::Mechanize object isa LWP::UserAgent, which has a cookie_jar attribute that normally contains a HTTP::Cookies object, which has a set_cookie method.
So you'd do something like:
code :
$mech->cookie_jar->set_cookie( $version, $key, $val, $path, $domain, $port,
                               $path_spec, $secure, $maxage, $discard, \%rest )

Any of those help You don't need one -- if you don't specify one, Mechanize will just handle it. You might want to use cookies you have already stored in a jar, or save cookies in a jar for use with other scripts, so Mechanize lets you specify one.

I wish did fix the issue. The session.cookies object gives you a mapping interface; to add cookies, just set a value for the cookie name:
code :
session.cookies['cookie_name'] = 'cookie_value'
