Any of those help It looks like you're creating an NSTextField OK, but you're not adding it to anywhere visible in the view hierarchy. Your app probably contains one or more NSWindow instances; if you want a view to appear in a particular window, you should add it as a subview of that window's content view.

Hope this helps I have some 10 buttons with different names each.On selecting each button I need to append the button's title to NSTextField without removing the older string. , How about something like:
code :
[resultField setStringValue:
    [NSString stringWithFormat: @"%@ %@", [resultField stringValue], [sender title]];

I wish this helpful for you The text field's delegate needs to update the size as the text changes.
The trick is you have to manually update the stringValue property, to avoid bugs:
code :
override func controlTextDidChange(obj: NSNotification) {
  guard let field = obj.object as? NSTextField else {
    return
  }

  // re-apply the string value, this is necessary for the text field to correctly calculate it's width
  field.stringValue = field.stringValue

  // calculate the new dimensions
  let maxWidth: CGFloat = 500
  let maxHeight: CGFloat = 50
  let size = renameField.sizeThatFits(NSSize(width: maxWidth, height: maxHeight))

  // apply them
  field.frame = NSRect(x: field.frame.origin.x, y: field.frame.origin.y, width: size.width, height: size.height)
}

help you fix your problem The core of the solution was to use a custom subclassed NSTextFieldCell with one method:
code :
- (NSRect)drawingRectForBounds:(NSRect)rect {
    NSRect rectInset = NSMakeRect(rect.origin.x + 100.0f, rect.origin.y, rect.size.width - 100.0f, rect.size.height);
    return [super drawingRectForBounds:rectInset];
}
