Tiny C Compiler and Virus warnings

Tiny C Compiler and Virus warnings

To fix this issue Have you tried any other virus scanners? McAfee is notorious for false positives. What does the TCC website say about it? Have you googled it? I'd rather doubt it is actually a virus.

I wish did fix the issue. You're making a lot of assumptions:
That the virus writers couldn't disable the built-in AV of any open-source (or even closed-source) compilers. Given how DRM is consistently and quickly broken, this seems unlikely. That the virus writers couldn't simply use an existing pre-AV compiler. That the virus writers couldn't create their own non-AV compiler. That there are no legitimate programs that would trigger the compiler's AV heuristics. That today's compiler writers can accurately predict and model all current and future AV behavior in order to produce a heuristic that is even remotely effective.

This might help you It is because warning is not an exception. But you can make warnings throw exception by
code :
use warnings FATAL => 'all';

I wish this helpful for you It just won't work. Compiling code for iOS/Android involve lots of tools, and TCC just does not support that. Plus, it is forbidden by Apple to do so.
There is many steps in the building of an app, involving linking with the SDK, making a bundle, signing the code, ...

it fixes the issue In perldoc perldiag we find that those warnings are in a group named "exiting".
If you used no warnings "exiting"; just prior to line 130 in fftgv2.pl, you would silence the warnings for the remainder of that block.
Why do I get 'use of uninitialized value' warnings even though I return a value from Try::Tiny's finally block?

it should still fix some issue As explained in the CAVEATS section of the documentation, the return does not return from the sub, it returns from finally:
code :
sub parent_sub {
  try {
    die;
  }
  catch {
    return;
  };
  say "this text WILL be displayed, even though an exception is thrown";
}
#!/usr/bin/env perl
use strict;
use warnings;

use 5.014;
use Try::Tiny;

my $success_count = 0;

for ( 1..10 ) {
    $success_count += error_causing_sub();
}

say $success_count;

sub error_causing_sub {
    my $ret;
    try {
        die ("Error.") if rand(1) < 0.5;
        say "Error did not occur.";
        $ret = 1;
    } catch {
        say "Error occured.";
        $ret = 0;
    };

    return $ret;
}
#!/usr/bin/env perl
use strict;
use warnings;

use 5.014;

my $success_count = 0;

$success_count += error_causing_sub() for 1 .. 10;

say $success_count;

sub error_causing_sub {
    my $ret;
    eval {
        die ("Error.") if rand(1) < 0.5;
        say "Error did not occur.";
        $ret = 1;
    } or do {
        say "Error occured.";
        $ret = 0;
    };

    return $ret;
}
