code :
cd dir1 # assuming dir1/config.php is one of the files to ignore
svn propset svn:ignore config.php .

    Continue;
  FileName := FindData.cFileName;
end

code :
git rm --cached private.xml
git add -u .
git commit -m "Record deletion of private.xml from the index"
private.xml
git check-ignore -v -- private.xml
