will help you DocBook edited with XXE, translated to pdf with xslt when needed to be sent to clients.
Best change ever, so much easier to write, so much easier to merge, and when it's converted it doesn't look so godawfully unprofessional as MSWord.

With these it helps I would like to print some real numbers to a log file. To make them easy to read I would like them to all have the same width. I know these numbers will range from 0 to 4095.75 so I tried this: , Using %7 works for your values with 2 simulators I tried:
code :
module tb;

real expected, actual;

initial begin
    expected = 12.25; actual=   12.75;
    $display("expected= %7.2f, actual= %7.2f", expected, actual);
    expected= 4093.25; actual= 4094.75;
    $display("expected= %7.2f, actual= %7.2f", expected, actual);
    #5 $finish;

expected=   12.25, actual=   12.75
expected= 4093.25, actual= 4094.75

I think the issue was by ths following , As far as I know, the first 4 bytes are dwAspect. The next 2 DWORDs are width and height.
BTW, you don't have to use Structured Storage Explorer - you can see the data in OutlookSpy: click IMessage button, go to the GetAttachmentTable tab, double click on the attachment, select PR_ATTACH_DATA_OBJ, right click, select IMAPIProp::OpenProperty, select IID_IStorage.

Hope that helps You can't do that solely in the format string, you have to pass the text you want to print. That's not exactly hard...
code :
    String[] data = { "a short string", "a very long string to see that we get only the last 20 characters" };

    for (String s : data)
        System.out.printf("%20s\n",s.substring(Math.max(0, s.length()-20)));
      a short string
e last 20 characters
