this will help Asp.Net Ajax extensions are part of the 3.5 framework, so they should be installed. They live in the System.Web.Extensions assembly.
You can verify that that .dll exists by checking your GAC. The .dll's also physically live in the Windows\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_MSIL directory, which you can see with explorer on Windows 7 but will be hidden in XP (use a command line to browse to the directory).

I hope this helps you . In order to have your operations run when the extension is installed (which is something totally different from being disabled and re-enabled):
Replace that line:
code :
chrome.alarms.create('watchdog', {periodInMinutes:5});
chrome.alarms.create('watchdog', {
    periodInMinutes: 5,
    delayInMinutes:  0
});
onInit();

it should still fix some issue Even if the extension does not show up in the extension gallery, you can query the TFS REST API and see if the extension (or remaining parts of it) is installed: http://tfs:8080/tfs/_apis/gallery/publishers/MyPublisher/extensions/MyExtensionID
Next you need to install and remove an arbitrary extension from the TFS Marketplace and record the REST calls (using Chrome Dev Tools or Postman Interceptor for example).

help you fix your problem It is not possible at the moment to install from multiple verified domains. There is a feature request you can track here.
Although it doesn't seem to apply to your case, note that if you verify example.com you can install from x.example.com and y.example.com.
