wish help you to fix your issue It depends on whether the deliverable is the processor or the output itself. If you just need to deliver the output, you don't need to maintain the code. If the code needs to be maintained then will it be you maintaining it or somebody else?
If somebody else needs to maintain I'd use Java or give them Talend.

may help you . As far as I know the Class Loader and Security Manager hit performance at LEAST once, the first time you load a certain class.
The JVM loads ALL related classes (JARs, in the end) to memory at launch, if they're "linked" in an import.

Basically, yes.
internal versus external libraries Java

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Conceptually, an internal library is either "a library that is provided as (effectively) "part of the language itself," or "a library that is known only to your (big) project." In one case, only the language-vendor has control of it. In the other, only you do.
An external library is something that comes from an outside source. (Hence, neither you nor the language-vendor "owns" it.) Your project references it, and depends on (a certain version of) it such that "it cannot live without it," but it is not "(just) a part of this project."

hop of those help? There seems to be a problem with groovy > 2.4.7. I just filed an issue for this: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GROOVY-8156
Temporary solution use groovy < 2.4.8 until bug is fixed.
