Will using multiple version of a jar in an application cause problems?

To fix the issue you can do Yes, that's a bad idea. What will probably happen if you're lucky is that whichever of the two versions that comes first in the classpath will satisfy all the references. If that happens, then the other versions of the .jar file won't matter at all. However, old code that relies on an old version of the library might incorrectly pick up new versions of some classes, and so all sorts of weird bad things can happen.
Now, in an application with many separate class loaders, such a thing might work out, as long as the separate subsystems with separate class loaders keep the different versions separated. If you're talking about multiple references to a .jar in the system classpath, however, then it's not a case of multiple class loaders.

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Your client must have the framework you target or higher. So, if you write a .Net application that uses the 4.5 framework, your clients must have the 4.5 framework installed on their computer, or your application will not run. If you write an application that targets the .Net 2.0 framework, your client can be running any version of .Net 2.0 or higher and use your application.
Take a look at the .Net Version Compatibility article at MSDN:

like below fixes the issue Have you installed RVM? Use this link https://rvm.io/rvm/install for your reference. Using RVM you can control the version used in the app.

help you fix your problem With AWS API Gateway you could deploy multiple versions of your code and switch between them from the mapping templates, as explained here. You might also want to look into stage variables.
